I’ve never understood the ‘conservation’ idea that it’s good to go out and shoot animals (they call it ‘culling’ here) – seems counter-intuitive to me. Though having lived in a place that was over-populated with deer I have no problem with people hunting for meat to eat. Just don’t call it conservation!

I should have said, clickon the picture to make it bigger. Under the ‘vanity’ part of the plate it says, Conserving Wildlife. hmmmmm.
No irony here – obviously, they make elk jam.
Now animals get licenses? Forget I said that. They have them here as well. They just don’t have the opportunity to claim absent virtues.
